KAST hosts a star-studded science night for students
KAST was very proud to host our first astronomy night in Trail on Feb 3, 2012, providing the opportunity for students (and their families) to get a very cool close-up look at the night sky they have been studying in class.
The evening featured a presentation on phases of the moon and Venus, cluster stars and more from dedicated amateur astronomers and volunteers Wayne Holmes and Dennis Larcombe, who also help host Taghum Hall’s popular “Starry Nights” near Nelson.
