BC Innovation Council (BCIC), KAST's key provincial partner, names new President and CEO

The Board of Directors of the BC Innovation Council (BCIC) are pleased to announce the appointment of John Jacobson as the organization’s new President & CEO. 

Congratulations 2012 KAST Science & Technology Scholarship Recipients!

Each year KAST provides a $250 scholarship to graduating students in School Districts 8, 10, 20, and 51 who have demonstrated a passion for science and/or technology through a combination of academic achievement, participation, and leadership. KAST is very proud of our region’s talented tech and science students, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

This fall, KAST is teaming up with the Rossland Council for Arts & Culture (RCAC) and municipal recreation departments in Rossland, Trail, Castlegar, as well as Crawford Bay Community School, to host digital film-making workshops for youth ages 13-18.
