KAST hosts a star-studded science night for students

KAST was very proud to host our first astronomy night  in Trail on Feb 3, 2012, providing the opportunity for students (and their families) to get a very cool close-up look at the night sky they have been studying in class.

Amazing Math Races at RSS

KAST-GLOWS was delighted to sponsor The Amazing Math Race at Rossland Secondary School on January 23, an event for Grade 6 and 7 students organized by the (also amazing) Kim McKinnon.

During the race, teams of students had to complete a series of math and technology challenges after discovering location clues.
