Displays: Displays have to stand up by themselves on a table. You cannot hang things on the walls in the gym. They should be made of tenplast or some other fire resistant material. Corrugated cardboard, Bristol board and other Paper products are not acceptable as display board materials. Hall’s Basics in Trail has generously offered to provide approved display boards, at a reduced rate of $6.15, to any student who wishes to participate in the Science Fair.
For further display information see below provincial booklet.
Judging: Schools have been sent copies of the judging
criteria. Further copies are also available below. Make sure you look at the criteria so you know
what the judges are looking for. A very
important part of the fair is to be able to speak knowledgeably about your

presenting your project to family, friends, and classmates and answer any questions.
When you can do all this on your own, you will be ready for the judges. See below for judging criteria.
